Escalation of Overdue Notifications
Hello.
Is there any existing functionality that allows an email notification to be sent to a user's supervisor (or designated person) when a task is overdue?
If there is not 'hard coded' functionality, is there a way to take the assigned task due date (from the duration identified in the business process set-up for that step) and have it be 'coded' to a data element that could be used to 'date trigger' a non-workflow bp (which then generates an email notification)?
I looked at the due_date element (but apparently this is only used to over-ride the date given by the system based on the date duration given).
