Has anyone had any luck in 9.0 processing a Benefits statement?

I located the 9.0 documentation, but it's lacking in detail of how to set it up and get it to actually work.  I did the setup the best I could and everything seems to run without errors, but when I go to preview my letters, I get and error saying "the HTML file is empty".  Any suggestions?

Or if you have your own documentation that's better and don't mind sharing, that would be great!
