Can you create an Instance BOM with having only an Option Item on it?

  Our company is still at the exploration stage using the Variant Management
(Model Option BOM) functionility in Agile 9.3.1 version. There are questions
raised as a result of this as follows:

  1. Can you create an Instance BOM with having only an Option Item on it?

  2. Do you release and revise an Instance number? is it advisable?

  3. We have a separate ERP system that handles min and max qty for items, is
it still necessary to fill up the min and max qty column of the Model Option
BOM in Agile?
