BOM Explosion with Alternate Components

Hi Everyone,

Is there a report available that will accept an item as parameter and will output explosion of its components (same as the indented bill) -- But instead of showing components in the primary bill, if it sees that a component which is a sub-assembly has an alternate bill, it explodes that alternate bill instead. This goes on and on until the last level creating an explosion where components of alternate bill are found when there are.

If there are none, please provide suggestions how we can do with it.

I have known of APIs like bompexpl and bompinq which explodes alternate bill but of the main assembly only.
