Data script or functions to enable Amortize NBV Flag and Amortization Start Date after first month o

We have recently converted the assets from 11i to R12 systems and planning to perform following steps

a) Converted the assets by setting the depreciation flag as "No" (for eg: Close period Sep-2014 and do not calculate depreciation for September as it was already calculated in the legacy system)

b) Start depreciation from Oct-2014 month, set the Depreciate_FLag as "Yes" using mass change feature

c) Enable Amortize NBV Flag and Amortization Start Date on the assets to make sure that the depreciation to be calculated or spread out evenly in the remaining life of the asset

- We have around 100K assets and we need an automated way to enable the Amortize NBV flag and also to enter date on the "Amortization Start Date"
