Security patches for WLS 10.3.6

Hi ,

I have few queries regarding the SPU for 10.3.6.

1) One of our project is started from 2012 and its running on WLS version 10.3.6. we found couple of security patches been released by oracle. Since from 2012 we never applied any of the patches but in this case can we go for the lates patch which is been suggested by oracle for 10.3.6 else do we need to apply all the previous patches and then we have to go for the latest one ?

As I have observed in the Pre-req. points, it says that "Remove any previously applied WebLogic Server Patch Set Update and associated overlay patches ". As per my understanding with this point before we do for SPU we need to remove the older one and then we have to install the latest one. Please suggest on the same......
