What is the Recommended method to Install Oracle VM(OVM)?

Dear Legends,

I got a requirement to Install

1. EBS R12 Dev, Test and Prod (6 VMs) Multitier

2. FMW with SOA, CCG and GRC.

So for that we are planned to Install OVM servers and manager - still I need some clarifications for Installing OVM Server and Manager.

Q:

1. Each VMs will be holding a Oracle Linux as a Guest but what is the O/s that we should Install for Holding OVMs? Means the Host O/s ?

2. Which is the best and better way in terms of performance and reliability?

Any kind of help would be much appreciated.
