did multipathing - HA Clustering

Hello,

This is a simple question.

We have a bunch of floating filesystems, sitting on DID devices, which are sitting on MPxIO devices. I've been looking at this documentation:

Description - Oracle Solaris Cluster Reference Manual

and it says:

"At any point in time, I/O is only supported down one path to the device. No multipathing support is currently available through DID."

I just want to make sure that I read this correctly. Does it mean that the DIDs can still fail over to one of the other paths? Or, does it mean that if that path fails, down will come the service?
