web client to delete pdf attachment

Hi, when deleting the pdf attachment on web client, i won't delete the file from the deployment server  according to below statement ?

Delete File Attachment

When deleting a File attachment, the file is not removed from the server. There is currently no work around or report available which will identify all of the orphaned attachments. Many SARs have been entered for this including, Bug 10910463: HTMLUpload Orphaned files. For information on escalating this enhancement through the Quest User Group see Document 1192883.1.
