11GR2 : dataguard logsync questions.

Hi ,

we have implemented dataguard in test instance. We have a dedicated 3 MBPS network between site A and site B.   While testing , we found out that 3GB log sync is taking around 3 hours.   This is a unusually long time.    Can you please let me know, where do we check to identify the issue.   Is there any  init.ora parameter , that we are missing?

We have setup the following parameters

log_Archive_dest_1 = 'LOCATION=+RECO/dbtest/archive'

log_Archive_dest_2='SERVICE=dbtst LGWR ASYNC=24800 REGISTER VALID_FOR=(online_logfile,primary_role) DB_UNIQUE_NAME=dbtst'

log_archive_config=(dbtsts,dbtst)

log_archive_dest_state_2=defer
