List Applet column width not preserved

In 8.1.1.9, we notice that users changes to the column widths in List Applets are not preserved like they are in the ActiveX HI client. The moment they navigate off or refresh the view, the default widths are restored. Very frustrating!

I can't find anything on MOS that's related but wondered if it's a known issue that's been fixed in a later version? We're going live with 8.1.1.9 with a view to upgrade to 8.1.1.14 early next year.
