How to display quantity of fiscal periods on FSG

Fiscal year spans from April to March.

How do I display the fiscal period number (just the number), based on the Period parameter for which the FSG is run?

eg. April= 1, May = 2, June = 3

The reason is that I want to show calculated average statistic over the number of periods.

eg. April - 6 employees... Average YTD = 6/1 = 6 employees

     May - 14 employees.... Average YTD = 20 / 2 = 10 employees

     June - 4 employees.... Average YTD = 24 / 3 = 8 employees
