how to format revenue so it does not include currency

How can I format Opportunity Revenue on a Dashboard so that it does not include the currency and show the currency in a separate column. When a user exports the report to Excel he cannot obtain a total because Excel will not total the revenue field when it looks like 500.00 NZD.
