Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Core Concurrent Processing - EBS (MOSC)

1 more Std Manager than normal

Noticed today we have an additional Standard Manager process (FNDLIBR) running than defined.

To say it another way if I check under OAM Dashboard it shows Actual Processes is 1 more than Target Processes.

Why would that be and do I need to worry about it?

I do see some messages about "Found dead process" in the main.mgr log file (what's the name again? ICM?) but I think those are normal.

Found dead process: spid=(12108), cpid=(881058), ORA pid=(38), manager=(0/0)

For the record this is a 12.1.3 system running on Linux and last time the app tier was restarted was about 3 weeks ago.
