EXPIRED CONTRACTS ARE TERMINATED UPON INSTANCE TRANSFER

Hello,

When a Item Instance is transferred (Update Owner Directly, not using Mass Update Functionality), Expired Contracts associated with the Serial Number are terminated.

We are expecting Contracts to be terminated only when the Contract associated with a Item Instance is Active.

Please give some pointers related to this.
