Purpose of ZX_PARTY_TAX_PROFILE in Oracle Payables

Hello,


What is the purpose of ZX_PARTY_TAX_PROFILE in Oracle Payables?  How does this table impact the Oracle Payables transaction tables (ap_invoice_lines_all, ap_invoice_distributions_all etc.)?
