Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi All,

Already an work order is for Item X is under progress.

If I change the BOM and Routing for the Item X for the another new work order, what are the consequences will be triggered ?

In otherwise in the work order number 100, item X will be manufactured with in the premises.

Due to machine unavailability we will send the another work order, i.e., 101 item X to outside subcontracting operation.

For avoiding variances, I have altered my standard routing (M type) to outside operations.

In the above circumstances, what are the consequences and what kind of variances will be notified by the system for the both work orders,
