Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Oracle XML DB support for schema redefines

Currently, in Oracle 12c, the use of XML schema redefines is not supported. From the Oracle® XML DB Developer's Guide:

Oracle XML DB supports all of the constructs defined by the XML Schema Recommendation, except for redefines.

Is Oracle planning to support this feature in next releases?
