Warranty in Advance Replacement Cycle

In Depot Repair Advance Replacement Cycle when Product A with Serial number 123 got replaced with Product A Serial number 456 Warranty entitlement did not got transffered.

Detailed Explanation:

Basic warranty associated with Product A is 2 year which is included in BOM of the Product.

Lets say Product A got sold to customer on 01-OCT-13 Service contract got created with 2 year entitlement from 01-OCT-13 to 30-Sep-15. Now replacement provided after 1 year on 10-OCT-14 in this case new line created in same contract with warranty starting from 10-OCT-14 to 09-OCT-16. Ideally this should be till 30-Sep-15.

Can you please let me know what can be done to stop this
