Asset in Current period and invoice is future date

Dear All,

I want to create Asset once received, Invoice date may be future date. How can i create asset in Current Period.

For Example.

Received Asset on 1 Jul-2014 and Invoice received on 01-Sep-2014 but i want to create asset with DIPS of Jul-2014 Period, When i received invoice, at that time, FA Jul and Aug Period is closed.
