Hi

Despite having used OPM for many years I have not before had to deal with PWAC costing method so please excuse my ignorance.

I f an item is received (Qty 10) from a PO in period 1 at a PO Price of 2 - the PWAC cost id calculated as 2.

If no transactiosn occured at all in Period 2 am I right in assuming that the PWAC cost would be copied and remain at 2?

For a follow up assuming no new receipts

1. if half the stock was written off in Period 3 what would happen to the PWAC cost. and stock valuation

2. If half the stock was used in a production batch what would be the cost used in calculating and valuing of remaining stock
