Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

Is there a standard functionality available to assign a range of address book number for a specific company records

For eg: Company A = 0 - 10000

Company B = 20000 - 29999

Company C = 30000 - 39999

etc...

I know that the Next Numbers program assigns numbers to documents using one or both of these:

Standard next numbers.The system finds the next available number in the Next Numbers - Automatic table (F0002) and assigns that number to the document.
Next numbers by company and fiscal year.The system finds the next available number by company and fiscal year or by company only in the Next Numbers by Company/Fiscal Year - Automatic table (F00021).
