Tech Stack Patching on R12.2

Hi All,

I have Seen Various Oracle Documents for Tech Stack Patches, Where all of them Suggests to apply the Tech Stack Patches (Forms, FMW and Weblogic) on RUN File system only. (Which Required Down time)

I Want your Suggestions on below Procedure to apply Tech Stack Patches.

1) Run Prepare Phase using adop

2) Source Patch File System

3) Apply the Patch to patch file system (Forms or FMW or Weblogic).

4) Run Cutover Phase Using adop.

5) Re Source the Environment.

6) Run fs_clone (Mandatory)
