R12.2.4 has a new Inventory Org parameter on the Lot, Revision,... tab

At one time I was told by Oracle Support that when using "User Defined Lots", the standard Lot parameters would be overridden by the UDL value.  Now on this Org Parameter tab, in R12.2.4, there is a new parameter "Allocate Lot", with values 'Yes' and 'No', Does anyone know if when the 'Generation' value is set to "UDL" is this new parameter also overridden?
