Help with customer's problem with Streams

Hi,

I have been asked to review a customer's Streams-based database replication setup. My first action was to perform a Streams 'health check' (attached), as per note 273674.1. As far as I can see, there are no 'disasters' here, but I am concerned about a few of things which appear in the report, i.e.:

1. Although the advisory suggests that the streams_pool_size (c.500Mb) is plenty big enough, in the 'Apply Statistics' section it states 'Total Messages Spilled - 87900'. Does this represent a problem, and is it something I should be concerned about?

2. There is a number of rules & rule sets with names starting 'SYS.KUPC$C'. What is the significance of these?

Howdy, Stranger!
