RAC installation network problem

Hi all,

I have some questions regarding installing Oracle RAC on SOLARIS 11 SPARC.

It's about the network configuration part, as I understand my server will need to have 2 network interfaces for public ip & private ip correct?

My current public ip is running smoothly, I am able to ping to my 2nd db server.

But after I configure my private ip ( which is totally a different segment from public ) using ipadm I'm not able to ping my 2nd server. And when i check the link status using dladm show-phys -m command, my 2nd link is not in use.

Any idea?
