Help with RPAS multidimensional database installation, please

I am new to Oracle Retail although I have many years of experience installing ,upgrading and supporting eBusiness Suite and the various components that support EBS (forms, weblogic, Fusion Middleware, etc). Right now I am researching the installation process for RMS, RPAS and several other components prior to beginning a project to implement Oracle Retail due to begin in Q1 2015.The installation of RMS seems straight forward enough and I understand that RMS must be installed and working before I begin to install RPAS, and I also know that RPAS uses a multidimensional database, not the Oracle RDBMS.


My question is do I need to install  the multidimensional database first? And if so, which software is certified? Or does the RPAS installation create the multidimensional database for me?
