After apply RUP7, End dating a costing works differently

After apply RUP7, End dating a costing works differently than before. Effective end date gets updated with the same value of effective date unlike earlier it was (effective end date-1). Did anyone face this?

Here is the scenario

Earlier when we want to create a new costing record we used to end date(by clicking the delete button) and after doing so effective end date column is updated with a value of (effective date-1) i.e. if we end date today, 10/30/2014 is applied on the previous costing record and you get to enter the new costing record as of today.so there was no overlap and the dates
