JDEdwards consolidation and BPMN / BPR

We are in the process of exploring to consolidate our 4 disperse ERP 8.0 installations to one ERP 9.1.

We have been working with ERP 8.0 for the past 14 years.

With the consolidation we need to reconstruct our business processes of course and optimize them. We dont need any fancy stuff just yet. Only the basics for starters.

So we are thinking of creating our BP using a BPMN design tool (Visio for example).

My question is: Should we be doing something differently that would be more bound to our future JDEdwards environment, and if yes what is that?
