What is the function of INVERSE at Operation Resource

Hi All.

I want to know about the function of Inverse when we Enter the resource usage it will automatically pick the value. can anyone elobrate it more that what is the function behind this?.

NAVIGATION > Enterprise Asset Mangement > Maintenance Routing > Operation Resources > Main Tab
