Split Demantra Application/Data

Hi Gurus,

A part of our business has been sold to another company, so we need to split Demantra application/data between both companies. I am looking for some direction/guidance on how to split the servers/data. Do you suggest cloning the current prod sever to new company domain network and then delete the unneeded data. Or should we create a new set of servers in new company domain network, install software and then copy data from our environment to new company environment. Could you please advise. I appreciate your help.
