Refer to  support document Doc ID 1435544.1  in which we found following statement.


"You may also consider to customize the sequence and length of your account segments, depending on how you want your chart of accounts to look like. For instance, you may setup two segments for the Business Unit, where one one of the segments appear before Object Account and the other after Subsidiary or an Object Account with 6 characters."


When I trying to do the same in E9.0  or Even in E9.1.2 this is not working and I am getting Error. Invalid length

Any one have any idea, How this can be done. Is it possible or Oracle consultant write this with out having knowledge.
