MRP and Supply Demand Inquiry for Lot Controlled Items

Folks

Need some help from community on how the MRP and supply demand works for lot controlled items. We have an item A for which planning parameters are as below

Order Policy code-4

Periods of supply - 30

Planning code-2

Freeze fence-15

Message display fence- 720

Stocking type-P

Level Lead time-15 days

Min Max - No min/max/reorder/ order multiples set for this item

I have attached the supply demand inquiry for this item after MRP run. In the MRP run processing option "On-hand" tab for lot Expiration we set the option as "1".

If you note I have highlighted 2 rows in the supply demand inquiry. In the first row an available lot is shown as supply for a work order. In the second row it assumes that the lot is expired and shows a planned for the same qty. If we process the message we would end up over ordering. Can you suggest what needs to change so that we only order based on what is required.
