how to identify the RMAN backup piece that has the controlfile backup in it ?

how to identify the backup piece that has the controlfile backup in it ?  We  have 11.2.0.3 database., no "autobackup" set up.  I need to restore the database to some "old" date (so current controlfile is of no use).  i have the backup pieces restored, now, how do i identify the RMAN backup piece that has the controlfile backup ?  i can then restore the controlfile file from that pience and mount the database and proceed with the restore.
