cXML PO tag charcter limit question

We are having an issue where one of our cXML vendors is not able to accept the Name tag in the ship to and deliver to Address section of the cXML PO that we are sending to them. they are having a charcter limitation. Is it possible for us to someway truncate a few charcters in the below tag so that the vendor can accept it. Also does this require the customization of the dtd file? Or is it possible to customize the dtd just for this vendor and other vendors can use the standard oracle cXML.dtd ? Is there
