Dealing with table data in Oracle EBR 11gR2

Hi,

I m working on implementing Edition Based Redefinition, but got struck at a point where in if the data in a table gets updated as a result of application upgrade process, how will i maintain both the old and new updated data in order to support both versions of application.The older application would be looking for a data in the table that would have been update because of my upgrade process.

Any help would be much appreciated.
