Journal entry reserve ledger report not showing any data before period closing

I have run the depreciation and then review Journal Entry reserve ledger report, but it is showing "no data found". Accounting has also been successfully created and transferred. If I run this report after period closing then it shows correct data. Why is it behaving like this? It should show data even before period closing.
