Question about WIP transactions in Install base

Hello,

Below is the scenario where the WIP Job is completed but the IB still shows the item/serial as WIP issue,

Job # 989289 is for Assembly # RM-LEQ-00020.

LEQ-00020 / SL # 805S0211739 was  WIP issued to Job # 989289  on 20 Nov 2012, after this Job completed it produced RM-LEQ-00020  / SL # 805S0211739 ( WIP Completion 21 Dec 2012 ).

Now LEQ-00020 / SL # 805S0211739 is a part of RM-LEQ-00020  / SL # 805S0211739.

Now my question is what should be the status of item instance of  LEQ-00020 / SL # 805S0211739, presently IB for this item and serial combination is shown as WIP issue only. does it should be updated as WIP completion?
