Can dataguard still be effective if both T5 servers are sharing SAN?

Hi all

We recently had a hardware refresh and will be looking to migrate our Oracle Databases of from our old M Series Servers (M4000's) and over to our new Sparc T5 -2 Servers. In terms of setup this is what we have, over two sites:-

Site 1 (PRIMARY): Three T5-2 Servers connected to a dual controller NetApp Storage Array (names:S1, S2, S3)

Site 2 (DR):            One T5-2 Server connected to a dual controller NetApp Storage Array (named: S4)

The primary site has three T5-2 servers (S1,S2,S3), the idea was that two of them would predominately store production based LDOMS and the third T5 (S3) would have dev/test LDOMS. However with LDOMS, i guess it doesn't actually matter.

Howdy, Stranger!
