Siebel Configurator Generics

The problem is with the Siebel product configurator.  For optional items, after choosing MIN=1, the “None” option still shows up.  If user click “None” the system actually accepts it as an legitimate selection.  The application displays a warning at the end of the selection, however if user choose OK, it goes through?!

This is obviously an undesirable behavior, a logical bug.  person with deep Siebel configurator experience may be able to help?
