FA Ledger and GL Ledger Relation

Hello,

How is an FA ledger related to a GL ledger?

If a ledger that is currently attahced to an FA book is made inactive in GL but the FA book is going to continue to remain active, how will the FA book be impacted?

Note that in this case, the FA book in question does not post to GL.
