Can Siebel Mobile form applet directly load in Edit mode?

In an iPhone mode, the steps we follow to edit a field are as below:

1) We first see the list applet of the entity.

2) Then we drilldown on a record which then displays the form applet of that record. 3) Then we click on 'Edit' button which takes the record to Edit mode from Base mode. 4) We then make necessary changes to the field values and click on 'Save' button which now takes the record from 'Edit' mode to 'Base' mode.

And the same needs to be done for each record we want to modify.
