Questions on restoring DB instance (on ASM) to different host when parent host is unavailable

I am working on a DR strategy - we currently have a 2 node RAC cluster with ASM.  We run RMAN backups to our Flash Recovery Area in ASM and then a backup backupset to an NFS share.  I am looking for a document to guide me with how I could restore from this backup backupset were we to lose the storage/db instance for this DB.  This assumes we have another DB RAC that is idle and waiting for  restore.
