Sourcing Question: Multiple Locations for the Same Vendor on One Requisition

Hello,

We are on 9.0 Purchasing/EPro.

I just wanted to validate if my findings are consistent with delivered functionality.

It appears that if you have One Requisitions with Multiple Lines (all for the same Vendor), but each line has different locations, the following will occur:

1) Special Requests Lines Only - One PO will be created.

2) Catalog Items - A separate PO will be created for each distinct location (regardless of the fact that all lines are of the same vendor).

Does this sound accurate?  Why would the type of item make a difference?
