Verifying Standard Costs & Cost Integrity

Consider running these reports :

Identifying missing Cost Component (F30026) records

Use the Costing Exceptions Report (P30801) to identify  missing standard cost records (simulated and frozen costs) that could cause manufacturing accounting program (P31802) not to have the frozen cost needed to produce Work Order journal entries, although the Item Ledger entries (Cardex) are correct.

Identifying if only frozen cost is missing

Use the Cost Components Report (P30026P) to identify missing frozen costs.

This report is handy for instances where the standard cost simulation process has not been completed i.e. that only P30820 Cost Simulation program was run but not P30835 Frozen Cost Update.  Or that because unidentified reasons the standard frozen cost missed to be updated in F30026.
