How do we define Put Away rules for Item Categories in WMS

How do we define put away rules using the entire inventory item category code in Oracle WMS, as the categories are defined using flex fields and when attempting to create rule the usable parameters available are: attributes, description, segments, etc? We want to use the entire item category code?
