Manage/Monitor multiple data centers

Hi,

currently we have 4 data centers. Each one of them with his own EM12c deployment, independent.

We are planning to merge and standardize the four deployments... and we were wondering if there is already any best practices guideline for such. We haven't found anyone for this specific scenario.

I guess via export/import templates, etc. it would be possible to distribute the setup between the four environments. But, is there any better option or recommendation?

Is it possible at all to have a unique EM12c database with all the data consolidated and reachable via 4 different sets of OMSs? I guess the major limitation would be the network requirements for OMS->DB connectivity, right ? Any other concern?
