Stored Period Performance from an imported xer file.

I have defined financial periods in my company's database.  I have updated the project and have stored period performance.  I then export the project and send it to the agency's reviewer.  If the reviewer has not defined financial periods, or has different dates for their financial periods, how does the stored period performance from my project appear in the reviewer's database?
