1. I would like to understand the function of Asset BOM and Asset Routing. 

I feel reasonably confident of Maintenance BOM and Maintenance Route. ( eg Changing Oil could be an Activity, and for this activity you set up a Maintenance BOM ( filter, oil etc) and a Maintenance Route ( drain oil, remove filter, install new filter, add oil).

In this context , what is the function of Asset BOM and Asset Routing. Where is this used in a typical Manufacturing Plant with many equipment/assets.

2. I see a lot of notes on Asset Hierarchy. Where do I see this menu option? I don't see a menu like this in Maintenance Superuser Page.
