Siebel Upgrade from 8.1.1.6 SEA (sql 2005) to 8.1.1.11 SIA(sql 2012) windows 2012

Hello Experts -

Any input for the following would be greatly appreciated.

we are planning to upgrade to 8.1.1.11(SIA), SQL 2012, windows 2012.

We are currently in 8.1.1.6(SEA), sql 2005, windows 2003.

It is also mentioned in "Certifications" SQL 2005 is not supported in siebel 8.1.1.11 SIA.


Question :

1) Is there anyway, we can directly perform siebel upgrade on SQL 2005, with out going to SQL 2008 ? As this will create some issue for us with SQL 2008 licensing.


2) During server installation(8.1.1.11 SIA), during siebel server configuration step I am facing an error ( Siebel gateway and enterprise configuration went good).

I have attached error file I got with this.

In siebel.log , I am getting following error. "(srvredit2.cpp (554) err=5004 sys=126) SBL-GEN-05004: Key was not found."
